In the small village of Stavrochori, at the foot of the Rhodope mountains, the Passas family cultivates their vineyards with devotion and detail. We began with a simple but powerful insight: not all stories are told in loud voices<\/em>. Some are told through quiet care, patience, and roots.<\/p>

What we found was a rare combination of ingredients:<\/p>

  • A small, family-run<\/strong> winery where every member is involved, hands-on, not as a romantic clich\u00e9, but as a real, everyday reality.<\/li>
  • A specific terroir<\/strong>, the slopes north of the Nestos valley, at the edge of the Rhodope mountains where the climate, altitude and soil give birth to expressive, well-balanced wines.<\/li>
  • A name: \u201cMavra Nera\u201d,<\/strong> with the potential to become a distinctive asset in itself.<\/li>
